Hello, my name is Ashleigh. Born in raised in the North Island of Aotearoa (New Zealand).
It hasn't been until the last couple years, I really found a style that works for me and I thought about selling my art. After having my son and going on maternity leave, I discovered my passion for creating art again. Being of Maori descent, a big part of my culture is appreciating and looking after nature. Of course, I fell in love with the ocean, the natural environment and all that makes my home land special.
I have been creating artwork, since I was a child and it has always been a great passion of mine. I would always find myself drawing animals and scenery, the occasional portrait but mostly nature.
A lot of time and love has gone into each one of my pieces and I hope that reflects when looking at my work.
